John Vardakis holds a PhD in Integrative Cerebral Dynamics from the University of Oxford (2010-2014), and was involved in the VPH-DARE@IT project since 2013. His PhD was structured through the Centre for Doctoral Training in Healthcare Innovation (2009-2010), and was funded by the Digital Economy Programme; a RCUK cross-Council initiative led by the EPSRC and contributed to by AHRC, ESRC, and MRC, as well as from the VPH-DARE@IT project. He also completed the Science Innovation Plus programme in the Centre for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the Saïd Business School (2011-2012). He joined UCL as a Postdoctoral Researcher in 2015.
John received a BEng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from King’s College London in 2008. He was awarded the Siemens Prize (1st), King's College Engineering Society Centenary Prize and Gilbert Cook Bursary during his studies.
